We are Capyble
Founded by those with living experience who want to close the gap between survivors say they need from workplaces and what workplaces can afford to put in place.
our story
Equity, rage and hope.
We started as a training agency, building education with survivors and our partners at Workplace Respect. Creating training people actually wanted to watch.
But it wasn’t enough.
We kept seeing harmful behaviours show up at work.
We kept hearing the same stories of training that didn’t land.
We kept seeing the gap between what people needed and what workplaces delivered.
So we built a different way.
Capyble is the start of that… moving beyond awareness and into systems that actually work.
our mission
No workplace without the tools, training and advice it needs.
Workplaces are where Australians spend most of their week. They’re also the place where disclosures happen, where harm plays out and where power imbalances are perpetuated and perpetrated. Our mission is to make it so that anyone can walk into any workplace and know that they are safe and that the people around them are actively working to prevent harm from happening. We believe this happens when every workplace has access to tailored tools, training and technology and when support is no longer blocked by lacklustre education and a lack of workplace action.
our ethos
Our commitments in practice
- Co-designed with lived experience Every piece of content is developed alongside people who have lived the realities these policies are designed to address. Nothing about them, without them.
- Grounded in legislation and practice Every assessment is mapped to Australian legislation (including the Respect@Work positive duty and the AHRC 7 Standards) and continuously tested, refined, and improved.
- Fairly funded and shared Every engagement includes paying survivors for their time and returning a share of revenue to our partners in the FDSV sector, so the work that makes this possible can continue.
There is already limited funding and support for the organisations doing critical work in this space. Our goal is not to add to the noise, but to bring expertise together. To support, amplify, and recognise the contributions of those with lived experience.
